TMZ has discovered that the up-front fee in Jaden Smith's "Karate Kid" contract from June 2009 -- when he was 10 years old -- was split into two installments ... one for $900,000 and one for $100,000.
Since the film earned more than $150 million domestically alone, Jaden raked in another $2 million in back end bonuses.
And based on additional in-contract perks and the film’s world wide success, Jaden likely pulled in much, much more.
