Charges Pending Against Teyana Taylor

The situation between scenester Teyana Taylor and director Jean-Claude LaMarre has taken an ominous turn...

Last week it was revealed that Teyana Taylor and Jean-Claude LaMarre had gotten into a physical confrontation on the set of 'Gang of Roses 2' [click here if you missed that].

After the story came out Jean-Claude claimed self defense while Teyana claimed the attack was unprovoked [click here if you missed that].

At first willing to let it go citing Teyana's age, after Teyana's public accusation Jean-Claude felt it necessary to file a police report

Jean-Claude tells Bossip
“And after discussing it with my family, I decided to file the charges. We have statements from over twenty crew members who witnessed her charge and violently attacked me. I was going to leave it all alone because at the end of the day she’s only 20 years old, but the truth is this young lady has a real anger problem that needs to be dealt with. I had no choice but to file charges.”

In the statement about the police charges, LaMarre also gave his side of the whole fight story.

According to him, once Teyana complained of a toothache so severe she couldn’t film, she was asked to leave. When she refused, LaMarre yelled at her to leave, and that’s when she allegedly ‘came at him like a spider monkey.’ She was pulled off of him and restrained by members of the production crew. At that point, she reportedly broke free and started scrapping with the crew.

“That is when she began to kick camera equipment and destroy property on set,” LaMarre adds. “In her fit of rage, she then walked to my car and kicked my vehicle door and dented it. There were tons of eyewitnesses on set.”
