Amber Rose talks about her tatts and life with Wiz Khalifa in the November issue of Inked Magazine...
Inked: What’s it like being with Wiz [Khalifa]?
Amber: It’s the best feeling in the world! He’s my best friend. He’s super silly and we have a blast together.
Inked: What are your thoughts on couples showing their love for each other through ink?
Amber: Wiz and I did it, but we want to be together forever. So I guess really make sure you want to be with that person forever, and try to wait until you’re older, when you can make better decisions. I suggest getting a small tattoo, just in case you break up—then it’s an easy cover-up.
Inked: When and what was your first tattoo?
Amber: I was 15 and I got paw prints on my upper thigh. It was kind of a fad in Philly and all the girls had them.
Inked: Do you plan on getting another tattoo? What would it be of?
Amber: I want to get two full sleeves eventually, but I just don’t know what I want yet.
Inked: What’s your ethnic background?
Amber: My mom is Cape Verdean—West African—and my father is Italian and Irish.
Inked: How do you manage to ignore the haters and the negativity and remain confident?
Amber: It’s not easy—I won’t lie. But I choose to keep my life positive. I’m not perfect, so I ask God to forgive me all the time and thank him for helping me grow into a better woman. That gets me through everything.
