Floyd Mayweather Sentenced to Community Service

Music producer Anthony Dash is trying to sue Floyd Mayweather and one tactic Floyd used to stay out of court got him in trouble with the judge...

Anthony Dash has been trying to sue Floyd Mayweather for copyright infringement for using his beats without permission during two World Wrestling Entertainment events since 2010. The problem is Floyd's attorneys keep delaying the case. The latest excuse was a doctors note that said Floyd shouldn't be under any "mental stress" while recovering from his September 17th fight with Victor Ortiz.

You should have stayed in the house then, Floyd.

Dash showed up in court with surveillance video of Floyd partying the night away at several different clubs in Atlanta around the time he would have been in court were it not for the reschedule.

Needless to say the judge was not amused. After releasing the following statement the judge slapped Floyd with 40 hours of  community service with Las Vegas Habitat for Humanity to be completed by January 31.
"This court finds that Mayweather’s actions constitute bad faith. Mayweather misrepresented to the court the nature and severity of his injuries, thereby obtaining a postponement of his deposition. He has therefore committed a fraud upon this court."
