The company behind the push to build a monument to Beyonce in Houston, Texas are now accepting donations online...
Armdeonce Ventures expect to raise $200,000 for their Beyonce Statue Monument Project and are accepting donations on the Indie GoGo Web site.
As of this posting they've raised $20 toward their goal.
Armdeonce Ventures explains,
My company Armdeonce Ventures is currently partnering with the people of Houston, fans, large and small business, and supporters abroad to honor Beyonce' Knowles with a monumental statue charity project. We are currently seeking large and small companies, business, churches, and other community organizations that would be interested in coming on board as a partner and/or donor. This monumental/statue project will mark the first of it's kind. Proceeds from this project will go towards the construction and housing of the monument, as well as towards the associated charities of the monument, such as but not limited to Music for America, The Grammy Cares Foundation, and The Survivor Foundation. This statue/monument project is a way to unite Beyonce's many fans and supporters to charities that are dear to our(Armdeonce Ventures) heart as well as Beyonce's.
Our company decided upon a new way to honor icons while still alive; a way in which celebrities can enjoy a monumental gift from their fans that will also unite them with her community and associated charities, while they are still alive.Beyonce's team is very aware of this honor.
What We Need & What You Get
Proceeds from this project go towards the construction, scultping, unveiling, and housing of this monument. Each individual fan donation, private anonymous donation, and company donation is greatly appreciated. Each donor will be recognized on an international level, and will be honored for doing so by having their own individual nameplate in the monument, as well as their name engravedon the statue base.
An invitation to the unveiling ceremony and to the celebration event/concert which follows will also be given to each donor. Both events are on a "by invite only" bases, and will have A-list celebrities in attendance.
This project serves not only as the greatest material gift that Beyonce's fans can give to her, but also a gift to the associated charities that are dear to both her heart and ours(Armdeonce Ventutes).
