"ABC is very actively trying to get Bobby Brown for a sit-down," said a source close to the potential deal-making. "It would probably be with Robin [Roberts] or Barbara [Walters]," added the network source.
A rep for ABC would not comment on the potential interview, which would come on the heels of the Good Morning America piece with Whitney's aunt, Dionne Warwick, as well as Oprah's upcoming OWN interview with Houston's only child, Bobbi Kristina.
"I'm sure he would be paid something similar to licensing fees, or something like that," said the network insider. "But he stands to make far more money with a book deal, six or seven figures, I'd imagine."
