Usher Thinks Tragedy Gives Tameka Unfair Advantage

The real reason Usher wants to postpone his child custody hearing with Tameka Raymond is because Usher believes sympathy for Tameka's recently deceased child will give her an unfair advantage in court...

According to documents obtained by TMZ Usher claims moving forward with the hearing at this time would cause "unnecessary stress and strain" for both himself, Tameka and their two minor children "in the immediate wake of [the] tragedy" and also that Tameka would get an unfair advantage in the hearing because the court would not want to rule against a woman who is still grieving the death of her son.

Tameka is not having it. She calls Usher's claims of stress and strain 'bogus' and says he only visited Kile once during the 15 days he was in the hospital and refused Tameka's request to post a Tweet asking for prayers for Kile opting instead to Tweet about his breakfast that day.

Tameka wants to resolve the child custody issue as quickly as possible so she can move on with her life.

The next scheduled hearing is for August 13th.
