Damon Dash Vows to Make a Comeback

Last week it was revealed that Damon Dash was drowning under a mountain of debt and facing eviction [click here if you missed that].

In his first interview since his business was put in the streets Dame promises to pay back every dime he owes...

From NY Daily News
“I can’t touch my money. I can’t pay certain bills,” Dash said in a wide-ranging talk on Saturday. “But I’m still working every day. It’s not stopping me from hustling. I am an entrepreneur. I am real.”
Dash, 42, vowed to pay back more than $100,000 he owes on a sprawling mansion in suburban Putnam County.
He said he moved out at the end of March because he couldn’t take the frigid weather — but he also faces eviction, according to court documents he filed Tuesday.
“I’m in transition. I’ve been moving around on business,” he said. “It’s too cold to be upstate in the wintertime.”
The woman who said she rented out the luxurious Golf Ridge Road, Carmel, home to Dash said he left on amicable, but indebted, terms — $160,000 in back rent.
“He’s a nice person,” said Shlomit Schonberger. “He just doesn’t have money. He’s very talented and friendly. I hope he makes it.”
“As soon as I get the money, I’ll pay it back,” Dash promised. “It doesn’t mean they’re going to get paid immediately, but I’m gonna try to figure it out.”
