Kanye West has officially been charged with battery...
According to TMZ Kanye West was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft in LA yesterday.
Both charges are misdemeanors and if convicted Kanye faces up to 1 year in jail.
Kanye West is scheduled to be arraigned on October 10th.
A civil suit is also pending.
