Kerry Washington will host Saturday Night Live November 2nd with musical guest Eminem.
The announcement comes on the heels of controversial statements made by SNL cast member Kenan Thompson explaining why there haven't been any Black women cast on the show in six years.
Kenan told TV Guide,
“It’s just a tough part of the business. Like in auditions, they just never find ones that are ready.”
