Judge Signs Transport Order for Chris Brown

Last week it was reported that Chris Brown's legal team was desperately trying to work on a settlement with the victim in his Washington D.C. assault case hoping to have the case thrown out [click here if you missed that].

Welp, the judge just approved an order to have Chris Brown transported to D.C., so the whole let's-settle-out-of-court thing didn't work out...

As it stands Chris Brown will be escorted to Washington D.C. by U.S. Marshal courtesy of D.C. taxpayers and housed in the county jail.

Breezy's lead attorney Mark Geragos has filed for an emergency hearing to halt the transport by Marshal and request that Chris be released to his custody and that he be responsible for transporting him to D.C. and to court each day.

The trial in D.C. is set for April 17th.
