LUPITA NYONG’O and new man K’NAAN have jetted off to Hawaii for a romantic beachside holiday.
The 12 Years A Slave star and the Somali-born musician aren’t in swanky five-star digs. They’re holed up in a no-frills self-catering apartment.
A source said: “She’s been busy with the Met Gala fundraiser. K’naan wanted to treat her so he’s whisked her to Hawaii for a relaxing sunshine break.
“But before they left she made it clear she didn’t want to stay anywhere too posh or expensive.
“She told him all she wanted was somewhere clean ‘where we can cook our own meals and look at the sea while we eat them’.”
