Last week Chili and T-Boz from 90s girl group TLC got caught in a firestorm for appearing to criticize Rihanna over her constant nudity on an Australian daytime talk show [click here if you missed that].
T-Boz clears up the rumors claiming she NEVER mentioned anyone by name…
In a new interview T-Boz and Chili claim they never mentioned Rihanna by name and that the interview was edited to make it sound like they were singling her out. T-Boz also pointed out that they were on tour in Australia and hadn't even heard about the award show or Rihanna wearing a sheer dress, nor did they care. #shade
Chili and T-Boz chided Rihanna for starting a Twitter war calling it childish and said if Ri had a problem with them she should have picked up the phone. They also commented on Rihanna posting a picture of TLC topless claiming the pic was for Breast Cancer awareness, which is not quite true. The picture was actually from a spread they did in Vibe Magazine after Left-Eye burned down Andre Rison's house where they appeared on the mag cover in Firefighter uniforms.
