Earlier this month rapper turned pastor Mason 'Mase' Betha got indignant after an interviewer asked whether his allegiance was to the church or the rap game [click here if you missed that].
Apparently Mase chose the rap game…
According to TMZ Mase has officially cut ties with his church, El Elyon International Church, to restart his rap career.
Mase is already back in the game performing shows around L.A.
It may be all for the best considering back in April Mase was accused of fraud by his congregation after he and his wife, First Lady Twyla Betha, secretly filed for divorce while preaching family unity and selling relationship books to their followers [click here if you missed that].
