Pharrell and Robin Thicke Vow to Appeal Marvin Gaye Ruling

Earlier this week Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke were ordered to pay $7 million to the Estate of Marvin Gaye after a jury trial determined they copied Marvin Gaye's Got to Give it Up for their smash hit single Blurred Lines [click here if you missed that].

While Pharrell and Robin have vowed to appeal the ruling maybe Pharrell should listen to a few more songs from Robin Thicke's catalogue before hitching himself to Robin's wagon…

Yesterday attorneys for Thicke and Williams told Fox Business News,
"We owe it to song writers around the world to make sure this verdict doesn't stand. My clients know that they wrote the song 'Blurred Lines' from their hearts and souls and no other source. We are going to exercise every post trial remedy we have to make sure this verdict does not stand. We look at it as being in the seventh inning of a game that could go into extra innings."
That's nice you guys. Stand up for your rights.
