Last night The Las Vegas police department released a statement confirming Chris Brown had been accused of assaulting a man during a pick-up basketball game inside his hotel suite.

According to the press release the victim, who was interviewed at Sunrise Hospital, told officers he was playing basketball at the Palms Casino Resort when a verbal altercation led to a physical fight between himself, Chris Brown and another person.
Detectives responding to the scene were told Chris was not available for questioning.
This morning Chris Brown's camp released the following statement to the media,
"Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drais on May 5 and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well."
"He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person."The investigation is ongoing.
