Bill Cosby Files Motion to Keep Settlement Sealed

Bill Cosby's lawyers were in court this week to make sure the settlement agreement between himself and sexual assault accuser Andrea Constand remain sealed…

Bill Cosby's legal team took steps to keep the settlement confidential after portions of his 2005 deposition in the case were made public last week [click here if you missed that].

In the depo Cosby admitted obtaining Quaaludes for sexual encounters but did not admit secretly drugging or having sex with anyone without their consent.

Cosby's lawyers argued media outlets twisted the testimony to appear as though Cosby admitted guilt when he did not. The judge cited Cosby's self appointed role as 'public moralist' in his decision to release the documents.

Andrea Constand is fighting to have the settlement agreement unsealed.
