Taye Diggs' return to Broadway is brief after producers decide to pull the plug early.
Taye Diggs joined the cast July 22 and was supposed to star as the 'internationally ignored' transexual rock star Hedwig until Oct 11th but apparently plans have changed.
It was announced yesterday that the show will be closing on September 13th amid talk of lagging ticket sales.
