In 1983 Vanessa Williams became the first Black women to win the Miss America beauty pageant. Just weeks before the end of her reign Penthouse Magazine published naked pictures of Vanessa Williams and another women in a very risqué photo-shoot forcing Vanessa to relinquish her crown.
Apparently that's all water under the bridge.
Pageant officials welcome Vanessa Williams back into the fold as she joins the panel of judges for this years competition.
The Miss America Beauty Pageant airs Sunday, September 13 on ABC
