Morgan Freeman Fighting Over Deceased Granddaughter's Estate

Actor Morgan Freeman battling deceased step-granddaughter's father over her estate…

Earlier this year actor Morgan Freeman's step-granddaughter E'dena Hines was murdered in a shocking exorcism by her mentally deranged boyfriend outside her Washington Heights Brownstone [click here if you missed that].

Because E'Dena did not leave a will her entire estate automatically passes on to her parents, but Morgan Freeman is taking steps to make sure her absentee father does not benefit from her death.

Freeman, who purchased E'dena's New York brownstone, states in his legal docs,
“From the time that Edena was approximately three and a half years old and until the Thanksgiving before her death, Edena met with Edward Lee Hines only one or two times.”
“Throughout (her) entire lifetime, my (step) daughter Deena Adair and I were the primary sources of support for Edena financially, emotionally, mentally and physically.”
The case is pending.
