Russell Simmons Adresses Rush Card Crisis


Russell Simmons is no longer making social media posts about the Rush Card glitch that left users without access to their funds for over a month [click here if you missed that], but his users are still complaining about being locked out…

Russell Simmons Instagram posts are overrun with customers begging to have their accounts restored and complaining that Rush Card customer service is not available.

Meanwhile Russell tells The Los Angeles Sentinel
“Our call center usually gets about 600 calls and now it’s [getting] 600,000 calls.”
“The way I view it, I will take every complaint and claim and pay it, if it has any legitimacy.” 
 “I’ve heard people being put out of their apartments or in the hospital needing medicine and what I have done, what I do, is if they say they [lost] $400, I’ve given them back that exact amount and I’ve also adjusted their fees.”
