According to reports Jay Z's music streaming service Tidal has been re-activating canceled accounts and hitting up their credit cards...
A contributor for The Verge claims Tidal recently charged his credit card $19.99 despite his canceling the service months ago.
Hours later the former Tidal user received an emailed apology explaining his card been charged by accident and that a refund would be issued along with three free months of Tidal access.
The gag is after reading the fine print he discovered his old account would be reactivated after the complimentary period expired and automatically charged $9.99 a month unless he opted out.
Not long after the story went live Tidal changed the wording on the contract and apologized.
