Now the rapper's attorney hopes his rap lyrics will help him get a lighter sentence...
According to reports DMX's lawyer plans to play 'Slippin' and 'The Convo' to give the judge insight into who DMX really is before his sentencing.
The hearing is set for March 29.
DMX is facing up to five years in prison.
