Last night Kanye West appeared to switch sides, after flirting with the alt-right all month, by proclaiming Parkland high school shooting survivor and gun control advocate Emma Gonzales his hero.

After Kanye Tweeted that Emma was his hero and that he'd shaved his head in her honor, Emma Tweeted her hero was James Shaw Jr, who single handedly disarmed the Waffle House shooter and then started a Go Fund Me account to pay for the funerals the victims.
