Screenwriter Shannan Lynette Wynn is suing the OWN Network claiming she pitched her idea for a series about a powerful family and their mega church back in 2014. Shannan says OWN showed great interest in her ideas and called her back for several more pitch meetings before abruptly cutting contact.
According to the lawsuit years later OWN premiered Greenleaf with the exact same story lines.
Shannan Wynn is seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
