I saw that photo of Meghan and her dog in the car so I'm happy with that. I wish them best with that shit show of a family.

Wedding was inclusive of a black preacher that spoke from Chicago and the gospel choir did their thing too. Good representing Meghan and God bless your union.

Didn’t watch but saw the pics on DM... so weird the entire church was filled with white people and only 1 member of her family. Something eerie about that. And all the random celebs who showed up. I wonder what rituals are planned for today. SMH

And I truly can’t figure out the crowds of people who line up to watch this (and functions like this). Am I unpatriotic or something? I wish I would line up somewhere like a programmed lemming just to be a spectator. Just weird to me..:

I just came to say I told you guys that Meghan was going to show her ass during this wedding and boy did she. She had an black American bishop who was preaching up in there... talking about Dr. King and even bringing up slavery! What! She had an amazing gospel choir. She had a black woman chaplain to speak. Then that young black cellist perform 3 solos!!! I mean seriously. Then her mom came with her natural hair. She didn't try to switch it up on the big stage. Then she had the gospel choir singing Amen and This Little Light of Mine when they left the church. I mean... seriously. It was like watching the moment when Lisa and Hakeem got married in Coming To America LOL. She did it and did it big...her way. Meghan showed the world exactly who she is. Those white aristocrats had to sit there and deal with it. The looks on some of those peoples faces was priceless. I loved every minute of it. We saw her inner circle of friends Serena Williams (who looked great), Oprah, Idris Elba, Gina Torres. Can we please stop questioning this woman's loyalty to our community and accept our black American royal princess. She made history. With grace, with beauty and with blackity blackness! Let's celebrate this Wakanda forever, black girl magic wedding. Now I am eagerly awaiting to see what platforms she chooses to make a difference.

8:25. You're not unpatriotic at all. As far as not seeing enough blacks and that being eerie, that wasnt the case for me. Guess some family is just plain janky. I know the cracker side is anyway. But the most important black I saw was her mom. Very beautiful lady, came thru with locs, classy dignified and all. All I would need is mama on my side. I feel you tho.

Go Meghan! She really pulled it off!

@ 8:43. Meghan came all the way thru. Them royals look like they really couldn't relate? Kind of clueless? They couldnt help it tho. They didnt know.any better. Oh well, fuck 'em. I was thoroughly pleased.

Smh..Black folks will celebrate anything.

8:09. Your're into beastiality.

We love white validation.

The Choir singing Stand By Me was beautiful as well as the Chelist. The Preacher spoke and them inbreeds was looking like "Whut Is This Bloody Love He Speaks Of?" As for the vows well the part about Until Death DO them part needed to change to Death will do us part if the people love you more than my Grandmother. Harry seem like fun and down to earth seriously don't think Charles is his father. She probably had to sacrifice her dad just like that dog that 'broke both his legs'

@8:49 I'd rather celebrate Meghan than the next unwed THOT who had a baby by an ignorant rapper/athlete with multiple kids by multiple women. Unfortunately, they are celebrated all over the internet every single day. Meghan just made history against ALL odds and is going to make a positive difference. Yep I'm celebrating.

@ 8:43 am. well, i wouldn't go that far. but i did find it interesting she went so black when she herself has been careful not to call herself a Black woman, even as far to say she was "grey" i'm guessing maybe it was more her mom's influence or maybe she just wanted to be obnixous. perhaps she's experienced some racism behind the scenes and this was her finger to them. it was amusing to watch either way and yes their looks where priceless lol.

lol @ blackity black. Meghan is not blackity black but I was happy to see her beautiful Mom up there, the bishop, young cello player and choir. Nice seeing Serena and Oprah up there too. But Meghan is definitely letting up everyone know in subtle ways that she is BIRACIAL not black- and the African American community don't have to run around claiming anyone that doesn't want to directly claim/identify with us. We are already special.

Thank you Anon 8:43. You said all that was needed to say. It was black AF, them folk ain't never seen no shit like that, and good on it! God bless them.

9:25/9:33 I read the entire article where Meghan described herself as being grey. There was nothing wrong with her saying that. She described her experience as not being full black or full white. She did not in anyway shy from her black side. She was just stating that she is technically mixed. I didn't have any problem with what she said. She gets it. Here are excerpts of her statement for those who didn't read it:

Just as black and white, when mixed, make grey, in many ways that's what it did to my self-identity: it created a murky area of who I was, a haze around how people connected with me. I was grey. And who wants to be this indifferent colour, devoid of depth and stuck in the middle? I certainly didn't.

So you make a choice: continue living your life feeling muddled in this abyss of self-misunderstanding, or you find your identity independent of it.

You create the identity you want for yourself, just as my ancestors did when they were given their freedom. Because in 1865 (which is so shatteringly recent), when slavery was abolished in the United States, former slaves had to choose a name. A surname, to be exact.

Perhaps the closest thing to connecting me to my ever-complex family tree, my longing to know where I come from, and the commonality that links me to my bloodline, is the choice that my great-great-great grandfather made to start anew. He chose the last name Wisdom. He drew his own box.

Hi 10:05, I'm 9:33. I'm agreeing with you. Thanks for the excerpt.

A whole lot of embarrasing moments in the media for the whole royal family leading up to this fiasco.

They were thoroughly embarrased with the ratchet shennaigans of megans tralier trash family.

There will be a price to pay for all of this embarrassment TRUST ME.

THE ROYALS ARE USING THIS A TEACHING MOMENT, for Harry and Megan and the public at large as well, about thinking they can insert themselves in royal famliy blood lines.

Harry insisted so after they couldnt persued him to change course, they have decided to teach him a lesson he wil never forget

Her dress was meh, they could’ve made it fit to her shape better but bay bay, her makeup was flawless and natural. I went to facilitate a meeting yesterday at 8:30am and all these beautiful sistas had on the heaviest makeup. I couldn’t believe it. Full contouring, heavy drawn on brows, etc. I thought “when did we start wearing so much damn makeup??” It was very draggish. One looked like the Oscar statue she had so much damn gold contour on. It’s so refreshing to see her glowing skin and a natural look!!!!

And yeah at 10:39, this slight on their “dignity” and “optics” won’t be forgotten. I can only imagine what their salty ass relatives is saying to them behind closed doors. Gods protection to them both. I hope they fly commercial on their honeymoon, wherever they are going. I don’t think they would have any problem disposing of the red headed step child, anyway. White supremacy knows there will be causalities among their own, but it’s for the greater good of continued dominance.

I watched the wedding on YouTube. I thought it really spoke to who they are as a couple. As far as family not being there HER FAMILY IS HER MOTHER. The one who has stuck by her from day one. Those are the people you want around you.

Also this annoys the fuck out of me. THe term BED WENCH. THIS WAS A TERM GIVEN TO THE ANCESTRAL WOMEN who had NO CHOICE as slaves to do what the slave owner wanted them to do. So in the truest sense of the term FORCE Is not CONSENT.

Meghan married Harry. They got engaged etc. they didn’t shack for 10 years. She is mixed. I know that society says she’s black. But guess what a bitch gets to define themselves. I get that. Her mother’s parents left the Deep South during the great migration of Blacks to the north. So it’s apparent to me that she’s had some heritage passed down.

I’m from the south and them old people didn’t let you walk around not knowing back then. These new south negroes might. I’m happy for them and wish them well. Diana would have been elated.

I’m with you E-STOKES, but remember that Meg gets to define herself because of her looks. Many bi-racial people don’t have that choice. Barack Obama could (not that he does) but he could identify himself as bi-racial, gray, whatever, but when he walked into Saks Fifth Avenue in the 1980s, the store was quick to remind him that he was a Black man (followed his ass around the store). Same with Ice-T—he’s bi-racial but he will always be seen as a bruh.

And truth be told, I”m not so sure Meg will be able define herself as anything other than a Black woman.

Good luck to both of them—they’re gonna need it.

All's I'm saying is neither the black or white part of her bett not cross them evils fucks or on and popping it will be and truth be told she can take Ginger the red head step kid with her over that cliff. Wills could not marry a half anything.

@10:05 - I really don’t get that. I’m mixed too (Mom is white) but I’m black. I don’t know anything different but being black. Idgaf what color my mom is. “Indifferent color” “muddled abyss of self misunderstanding” honestly as a mixed woman, I have no idea what she’s taking about. At all.

Maybe it’s where she was raised. Maybe in Cali things are confusing like that. I was raised in the DMV. Many of my friends were mixed, but we were all black.

I just don’t understand it. BUT I wasn’t raised around my white family At All. Didn’t see my mom till 13 years after my parents divorce and haven’t seen her since - it’s been more than 20 years since I’ve seen her. And I’m not missing anything, nor have I ever been confused about my identity.

Different strokes, different folks, I guess.

*shrug*

Has anyone else saw that candid picture of the Queen looking at Meghan? CTFU

I feel like her mother isn't very bright. How can you be the sole representative of her side of the family after Harry's statement that the royals are "the family that she never had". No correction, no rebuttal. It's like she's going along with being erased. I saw some of the expressions on Harry's side during the cathedral and the warm embrace just isn't total.

When Charles was leaving the cathedral one of his feet was pointing to Henry VIII's name (who is interred therein) -- Henry the VIII had his second wife, Anne Boleyn, beheaded on May 19th (482 years ago).

Instead of getting emotional about this wedding it's better to watch and wait. Symbols are used to tell us what is to come.

@ 8:43 You must be a fake royal. No black person believes she can make a difference. Bitch couldn't stand up for her mother or father on her wedding day. But she will advance what? Lots of flashy words for not equate facts.

Those Europeans you guys are ecstatic to see her marry into are shape shifting reptilians. How long has the Queen been akive? Why won't she die? Why was Diana never accepted? Killed? ThatsT right black people want to bring accepted by Shay whitey do bad and will celebrate their demise if it appears fancy enough. Happy about marrying into devil's?
