XXXTentacion Single Reaches No. 1

Rapper XXXTentacion's single "Sad" reaches no.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following his death...

XXXTentacion is the first artist to reach no.1 posthumously since The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems" in 1997.

Neither Prince nor David Bowie achieved this feat.

Sad was streamed 48.9 million times in the U.S. last week and sold 26,000 downloads.

Sad was at no. 52 on the charts before XXXTentacion was murdered in a robbery gone wrong outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield FL [click here if you missed that].

It doesn’t seem like he’s dead to me. Some people say he might have faked his death. One thing’s for sure- he was the Devil.

RIP! He look like mystikal to me

The devil was the one who killed him. I do believe the little fucker beat that liar up (the chick that LIED to him, the police and public and said she was pregnant) but I also saw a video where she was punching him and everyone else around her. Maybe their relationship consisted of physical abuse on both sides.

9:09..9:30...negative asses. So you telling me when you were 20 years old, you got it right all the time? We have all fallen short and fucked up some kind of way; still mess up. Why come with so much hate? You probably didnt beat anybody, but u have fucked up somewhere along the line. Judgemental, selective memory azz folks make me sick.

He knew his demise was coming. His videos are proof of that. You can't be a blind to the destruction that is around you and because of you and not have some remorse. That's obviously why he was trying to right his wrongs in his last days by doing charity work for kids. He set up his family nice before leaving this earth. He did something not one dysfunctional person in that family could do ..... give them stability.
That might have been his calling. It certainly wasn't to be a chart topper with that single being at #52 before his death.

It's sad a rotten, vicious, little psycho is celebrated just because his lifestyle caught up with him.

So his death prompted all these people to pay attention to his music to the point this song went from #53 to #1? Why didn’t that happen while he was alive? The Sindustry is following their playbook to a T - they always say these celebrities are worth more dead than when they are alive. And the lemmings keep proving them right.

Damn shame.

I can't believe all of the hatred. A person life was lost - if you don't have anything to say - shut up! We have ALL sinned and came up short. God Bless the negativity. Just make sure when your life has come to it's you, that you are ready.
