Earlier this week actor Geoffrey Owens expressed his desire to audition for acting roles rather than being handed one, after Tyler Perry offered him a part on The Haves and the Have Nots in the wake of Geoffrey going viral for working at Trader Joe's between acting gigs [click here if you missed that].
Looks like Geoffrey passed his audition...
According to reports Geoffrey just signed on for a 10 episode arc on Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots on OWN.
Geoffrey starts shooting in Atlanta next week.
