The “Truffle Butter” singer’s new beau, Kenneth Petty tried to rape a 16-year-old girl with a knife in 1994.
After the 1994 sex attack, Petty, who was also 16 years old at the time, was listed as a registered sex offender. He was sentenced to 18-54 months in prison.
Petty later spent seven years behind bars for fatally shooting a man, Lamont Robinson, in Queens in 2002.Petty was also arrested last week for driving without a license.
