Over the weekend Gucci was forced to apologize after releasing a new sweater that looks like blackface.
Apology not accepted as celebrity activists call for a boycott...

Niggas shut the fuck up, didn't nobody buy more gucci than y'all and them Asians, y'all just now figuring they racist? they been racist!! And Spike Lee gatekeeper token pet negro ass, chat bout boycott until they hire more black designers, nigga what?? fuck that how about you rich ass hoes support black designers, put ya homeboy and homegirl designs on the map. Support black designers and black fashion company. This is why these tired ass overrated brands keep disrespecting and offering dry ass apologies, cause they know y'all niggas don't really stand for shit, it's all a public front to act like y'all really bout. Y'all been forever shouting out these racist ass brands forever their cars, tacky as jewelry, perfume, clothes, shoes. Niggas please!!!
I concur @7:37
7:37 already @ 7:37--agreed!!
EXACTLY @7:37
3 Months??? LMFAO !!!
How about forever, nigga? Looks like you coons still can't give it up.
Fuck H&M, PRADA, GUCCI, HILFIGER, etc
^^^^Agreed! So hypocritical.
@7:37 I normally don't agree with angry black female ass, but you're right about this one. Why is Waka even talking about buying Black when he said that he wasn't Black?
@7:37; all that and more. Ain't never had no Gucci, Prada, Hilfiger, none of that shit, and not b/c I couldn't afford it. I never intended nor intend to give them vultures not a penny of my hard earned money. For what? To make them that much richer? Hell naw, not off me.
Now for all these celebrities talking bout boycott? Fuck outta here. They're gonna post about it, maybe even clean out their closets for a few weeks, then be right back at it--sitting front and center at their fashion shows, buying up and posting all that shit on their SM pages.
This ain't nothing new to me. Never has mattered, never will.
@9:58 and @10:04 I'm right there with you. As the kids say,"All that!"ππΌππΌ
R in NYC says:
Russell told no lies...Macy's doesn't even carry those urban brands in my department any more. I remember when they stopped carrying them. Very interesting to find out it was a concerted effort to undermine black fashion lines.
But y'all wanted to give Liam Neesom a pass? I'm confused?!
I’m not boycotting shit that these niggas will still buy and support months down the line.
They would have been better off calling for a celebrity boycott of Gucci - stop wearing it and name-dropping in their songs. The coins I've spent with Gucci, although significant to me, are a drop in the bucket for Gucci and these celebs. The only Gucci items I own and will refrain from wearing at this point are those that carry the logo. My pockets aren't built to throw away designer items, especially those that are functional. But they won't get another dime from me.
Side note - What is Gucci Mane going to do????
Niya already said everything that needs to be said. Snitch, close the comments.
I'm just trying to figure out what is going on. Last week the racists came out of the woodwork and they are still coming. Gucci, Prada, Moncler, politicians admitting to black face, schools making kids perform with black face masks, like fr what is going on in the world today? What is this campaign about? Something is brewing.
Right! What are we being distracted from? Income tax rip off? Border wall bullshit? Another shutdown? Confirmation hearings? It's something, just don't know what it is yet. Stay woke.
^^^ They want us to continue be outraged on a non-issue so that our mind isn't on the election and seeking tangibles that we deserve. The Dems are in survival mode because their little benign neglect policies and their light skin Cory and Kamala aren't working on black people now. We are on code and damn serious. That is very scary and offputting to these white supremacists out here. It is 2019. 400 years is UP. The energy and spirit among black people is very seismic and they can feel it. They want us to expend our energy on being mad over shit that happened 35 years ago and not seeking solutions for our communities TODAY. We know these crackkkas have been doing Zip Coon Dandy, Amos and Andy, minstrel shows forever. So what? What about money for a charter school for black kids who have been gentrified out. How about tax exemption status for descendants of slaves? How about land allocations and small business loans like the vietnamese and Koreans get. You see they ain't tripping off shit that white people did back in the 60s. 70s and 80s in a yearbook. They want to know what are you going to do for me TODAY and we getting that same energy and it scares them. We are an exceptional people and when we get on code, a change gonna come.
Yep 12:00pm! Most of these brands have always been racist. This is clearly distraction.
Lucifer/TPTB/Elite still pushing the recycled race war agenda.
The issue is that they NEVER really wanted people of color wearing their clothing because they wanted the brand "exclusive" and worn by the super rich as it was years ago, but over the decades rich whites stopped spending money on over priced rags. So, when rappers came along and started buying the brand then the black fans started buying Gucci and Versace too. So, Blacks kept the brands a float but they NEVER wanted their line associated with Blacks and so the sweater was an act of aggression followed up by them pretending not to mean any harm. They must have built up their White clientele again because they are done with Blacks. You think they want Souljah Boy wearing their clothes? Blacks need to SAVE not spend.
And now the fat lady can sing... .
Great aware comments in here!!

They know what they are doing...they dont want black people buying or wearing their clothes anyways...thats why they do they campaigns...icampaigns...if they do that in hopes black people will react just like they are...no loce lost for them
I saw some of the silliest black folks at the Dallas Galleria Mall about 8 years ago being treated like criminals at the Gucci store. They had a line OUTSIDE of the store and only let a few Blacks in at a time. Instead, of being offended the dummies stayed in line. Smh they had no respect for black folks and thought they were thieves.
I saw that sweater and immediately I knew that was the wrong type of shit to wear. They've been bold with their shit these past couple of months. I saw the that weird monkey display and now this sweater smh.
But then again, Waka says support black designers, labels and fashions. Who would you recommend? and please don't say Fashionnova....
Niyabinghi: Thanks, im bookmarking that site for future reference.
Guess who didn't post? Gucci Mane & Keisha K'whore. They support Gucci more than their own damn kids. Gucci Mane is in $2000 Gucci every day while paying only $2000 a month for his son. Keisha's kids wear Walmart clothes because that's all her mother can afford but is in $5000 Gucci everyday.
I asked months back on Sandra Rose when has Gucci ever come out in support of black causes given the way blacks rep their brand and got jumped the fuck on. Now look!
Good comments from all about this contrived situation.
Mongoloids and Caucasoids REALLY need to stop calling Blacks monkeys when they know god dayum well they carry animal genes and ape-blood codes (Type A-chimpanzee|Type B=gorilla) by default. We only pretend to not notice that liced animal fur growing out of their scalps and covering their bodies. They still carry the gene to grow tails.
