This week rappers 50 Cent, T.I and Waka Flocka Flame called out Floyd Mayweather for going against the Gucci boycott over their infamous blackface sweater [click here here and here if you missed that].

Even though Floyd did not write this statement, EVERYTHING he said was poignant.

His time is up. It's one thing to be book stupid but he is just ignorant all around and has no common sense.
His popularity just spiraled and he will definitely feel the backlash when he needs the support.
People talk about Cardi but look at this coon in action. All black and not shy about his ignorance!

Yall little social media civil rights activists kill me. Yeah Mayweather is an ignorant rich fucker. So is TI. He got time to act like he standing up for the black community, ALL WHILE rapping about drug dealing, killing people at age 40. If he gives so much of a fuck about the black community, go call out these cats killing eachother every fucking day. Gucci and Mayweather are not the reason for our fucked up position in this country. Oh did TIP speak on the black guy shot and killed in his own fucking apartment by a WHITE COP in Dallas?! Did any black celebrity or black person with power speak on that? But yeah he got time to diss mayweather and start this temp bullshit boycott. And yall idiots eat that shit up. Mayweather is right on that, we just hop on whatever's hot, raise hell for a few days on SOCIAL MEDIA and move on to whatever is trending fresh lol. I see EXACTLY why we in the position we are in this country. Always outraged and consumed over some entertainment bullshit instead of the real shit (Medical, Judical, Financial). And we all know this about Tiny but yeah go black people. FOH

All that whoever wrote that for him did is attempt to shift focus away from the subject at hand...

Although his response was intelligently written, it totally misses the point. So because people have been a part of the problem they should sit on the sidelines and do nothing? Are they not allowed to grow? He says "If you know better, do better!" Yet he is complacent in not doing better. Floyd says 50 is a deadbeat dad and TI cheats on his wife. True. Yet Floyd was convicted of brutally beating his girlfriend in front their child! He has promoted polygamy. See how that works? We can point out people's faults all day. I am no fan of some of the fckery TI nor 50 Cents have espoused. However, at least when it matters 50 and TI are speaking out. I respect them for that. At the same time, Floyd is simply making excuses to continue to support companies that show disregard for the black community (people didn't boycott Prada, what about the NFL, etc). He says he supported @Dapperdan when others didn't. Yet @Dapperdan has been outspoken on the disrespect Gucci displayed by selling this product. Floyd says he "loves the hate" and is not a "follower". However, he yearns for acceptance from others, especially the black community. I am glad that TI's song made Floyd uncomfortable enough to demand his PR team (we know he did not write this) issue a well-crafted response so quickly. It tells me he does care and he feels pressure. People like Floyd who brazenly support companies/people (Gucci, Trump, etc.) who disrespect the black community should be shunned and made to feel uneasy. It's not cool. He may go back to his grandiose lifestyle but money cannot buy respect from the people. No matter what Floyd says he yearns for that respect. I hope he realizes we will not give it to him if he continues to behave like this.

9:15 what you mean by "we" You mean black people as a whole in this country. Who we respecting then? TIP and 50 Cent? Why oh cause they call out shit when its convienient for them to do so ? Boy yall so easy to control and impress, its sad. Give TI his black people savior card cause he called out another rich black and made a song about it. They all about the same, walking contradictions, but they sure know how to make it look good though. Meanwhile, the real problems continue.

This overpaid, overrated rigged boxing match boxer is looking more and more like a transvestigation, I wonder if it's true what the transvestigation said about him being a f-m tran. What a pathetic quisling no wonder other culture laughs at black men. Do better.
