Us Breaks Box Office Records

Director Jordan Peele's new horror movie shatters box office records...

"Us" raked in an astounding $70 million in its first weekend, the largest-ever debut for an original horror film.

Jordan Peele's debut movie "Get Out" opened with $33 million in its first weekend and has grossed over $170 million since.

Both were shot on relatively small budgets, $4.5 million for 'Get Out' and $20 million for 'Us.'

No spoilers please.

I heard this movie was so stupid but then again I'm not surprised because I could barely follow the plot in the trailer.

I knew it would break box office projections, Peele is in line to be a major force to be reckoned with in the coming years, I welcome this fresh new energy, and I see my brotha about to do twilight zone, one of my favorite shows, I would love to see fresh energy interjected in a new twilight zone series. I'm going to see this movie a second time, so much symbolism it is a must for everyone to see, Nubians have nothing to fear but the fear within themselves, look in the mirror. And with that my black ass is out!!

The movie was trash!!!! The only good thing about it, was Lupita. Lupita did a great job, otherwise if you see this lackluster movie, do it online for free. It was a waste of time and boring. I can't even say it was a thriller. The premise looks interesting, like it would be good...but it's a jumbled mess, acting is terrible and it's not scary whatsoever. Many did not like the movie. Peele did a decent job with "get out", but he's no Hitchcock or even Shyamalan. I think he found a nitche that worked, with mainly an all black cast...but that's it. Just my opinion. Go see it and see what you think.

Sorry Shyamalan is trash and so are his movies, you are most certainly entitled to your opinion, the movie went over your head obviously. But to claim Shyamalan is some kind of great producer is laughable, I don't know what you smoking, but you need to throw that shit in the trash.

I got annoyed because people left the theatre early and missed the twist ending. People's attention spans are straight trash now. You got to rip people in half now-a-days to be considered scary.
