Diddy Covers Essence Magazine

Diddy covers Essence Magazine with his daughters Chance, D’Lila Star and Jesse James...

In his first interview since the death of Kim Porter Diddy reveals,
"That day turned my world upside down. Three days before she passed, she wasn’t feeling well. She had the flu, and she sent the kids over to my house so they wouldn’t get sick. One night I was checking on her, and she was like, ‘Puffy, take care of my babies.’ She actually said that to me before she died.”
For more from Diddy and Dream Hampton’s interview, pick up the May 2019 issue of ESSENCE, available on newsstands and digital platforms on Friday.

I find his behavior deplorable. He publicly dogged her out as she lay in wait for him to figure out his life and come back to her. He never did. She died unexpectedly and now he's overwhelmed with grief. Oh well. He needs to concentrate on raising these children without the guidance of their mother. I'm disinterested in his sorrow.

I stopped buying Essence magazine the minute it became white owned. Its content definitely has fallen off. I know a black man has purchased it now. I have just lost interest in it.

Wow!!! I was coming to throw shade, I still might but that picture was so beautiful all that melanin. Diddy is still a black devil stop using Kim to re brand your image as the grieving, loving doting dad, who misses the wise sage advice of your long suffering children's mother, whom you never married and instead abused every which way, while disrespecting her with Jlow, Cassie and whoever else, causing her broken heart to self medicate which eventually led to her death, which seemed to be a happy event, when y'all all jumped on social media laughing and carrying on just as the woman died. Sorry some of us can read energy, you are disingenuous, insincere satanist. Not that there is anything wrong with Satanism, it's the way you deviant occult hoes in hollyweird practice it vibrating on the other polarity. Beautiful picture but a terrible man who has caused so much pain to others. I just can't like him, his only redeeming quality is he seems to be a good father, although that picture years ago with the twin girls posing on his lap damn near naked while he was fully dressed, made me side eye the hell out his ass, given he's in hollyweird. Sean should focus on his acting career he's actually a decent actor and maybe do a Disney show with his children, some kind of hip cool hip hop show with old school guest popping in. Come up with a new format for you and your family maybe then the Goddess might smile on your wicked ass.

Could they have waited a year from her death to do an article? And front cover page? Where's her son? All the kids should be in the picture. Weird.

We could all write a dissertation on how much Puffy was a bitch ass to Kim and many more women. However, I don't have time, nor energy in my keystrokes to do that much. One thing you can't dispute ever is him being a good father. I'm going to leave it right there.

Beautiful photo but Diddy is a pure malignant narcissist. I think he might be a psychopath, too. Funny... I'm using his ashy ass as a model for the villain in my novel. Lol!

IF he was going to do this, then he should have done it when Kim was alive. These aren't the only children he has, but for now, they're the ones most important to him. I'm so over this man and his guilt.

@10:35, totally agree with you. diddy is...diddy. but he seems to love and care for all of the kids in his life. to me, that shows a lot about a person because it isn't a given.

Very nice pic. I'm happy no one here has started with the ignorant and untrue comments about the girls that I have seen elsewhere. Let's keep it like that. Say what you want about Diddy, but not the kids.

The "broken black family" image does not need to be advertised no matter how beautiful the family members. They love to promote this instead of a 2 parent home. Bye and thanks

All of the children, boys included, are featured in the article.

Mr Attention Seeker Sir..... He'd have Cassie n the same pic talking about she stepped right up to the plate if she had stuck around for the bs. Why isn't he allowing them kids to mourn in private, He been parading them singing and dancing days after the woman he dragged for filth dropped dead. When they grow up and have issues he gon cry they never properly this and that .. nigga its you. FOH

@10:25am - Essence was so much better when models were used and only the "hot" celebrity made the cover. It's peak was in the 90s when they began to do these deep features and then it was gone. When Susan L. Taylor's predecessor (can't remember her name) stepped down, that magazine should've called itself something else 'cause Essence been gone for close to 20 years now.

Would've been completed by and much better with Kim included. Fuck you duddy
