Lifetime planning a two-hour follow-up to the 'Surviving R. Kelly' docuseries...

From Deadline
Lifetime’s explosive docuseries Surviving R. Kelly, which chronicled sexual abuse allegations against singer Robert R. Kelly, changed the Kelly conversation. Now the network has set a two-hour follow-up special. Hosted by award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien, Surviving R. Kelly: The Impact highlights the impact the documentary has had on our culture globally, how it has elevated the conversation on sexual violence and what it means to be a survivor. It’s set to premiere Saturday May 4 at 10 PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

They're going to milk this shit until the end of time. I'm a woman and I've also been sexually assaulted more than once but this series appears to be disingenuous. It's more about exploitation, the ratings and less about the dynamics of sexual assault. They believe women no matter what and those who lies diminish the cries of those who have genuinely been abused. Talk about that, the truth. They would rather manipulate the audience to tap into emotions, which keeps them coming back to watch. Sorry but I'll pass.

Lifetime should ride the wave and do a series on Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and a whole slew of other "sprites." not supporting this trash. We get it and we know for a fact that RKelly on some deplorable shit. However, let the outrage be equal across the board. Not right...
