Ciara Clowned Over Harvard Grad Claims

This week pop star Ciara announced her graduation from Harvard University after completing a weekend business seminar [click here if you missed that].

Now she's being dragged for it...

I wish they would leave her alone. Any success is good success if she wants to celebrate her hard work then let her do that. Damn let people be happy for what they do.

This chic is deluded! She even spelled alumni wrong, lol!! Cerror in full affect. Was routing for her after that level up adding, but now she can do one!

Bleeding this story to death but anyway ...

I'm happy she wants to take business seriously and learn how to do it the right way. It's just a turn off to feel misled. What was wrong with her just coming out and saying, I'm taking a 3-day course at Harvard vs. trying to paint a picture of being an actual Harvard alumni? Call a spade a spade and people will respect you more for it. If I tried out for the Olympics but never got selected, much less received a medal, would that make me an Olympian?

And it's not always about hate or reppin' Cardi Bs of the world. Ciara comes off as a positive (albeit parched) person. She should just stop acting like everyone's stupid or blind and can't recognize a stretch of the truth. And since she's a mother, I hope she wouldn't encourage this kind of 'alternative facts' behavior.

Some things just need to be kept offline. The age of Aquarius is age of folks being woke, no longer can they be deceived the piscean age of deception, this age was finished in 2012 so I'm going to need these fools to catch up. We are in the age of mentalism, the all is mind, the universe is mental. We have awoken for the spell of sleep cast by religion, now one must think critically was confronted with things that make you go hmmmm lol

When it's only a certification that she has obtained, Ciara is frontin' like she has a degree. That's what I infer from her post, "I got a degree." And don't get it twisted, it's nothing wrong with a certification. And she got it from Harvard too? But she's putting on more than what it really is..

Those of us that worked our asses off for real degrees don't take kindly to people that get cutesy certifications and act like they're equal.

@11:17

I notice that everyone on RWS talks pure trash about every famous black/brown woman doing positive except for the following demonic, evil, mean bitches: Rihanna, Cardi B, and Naomi Campbell. Yet you all are the first to complain because there barely any black female artists! Stop stanning and support all black women!

The fact that you niggas think her getting a certificate at Harvard and calling herself an alumna make you think that it devalues your degrees shows how fucking insecure your bitter, crab in the barrel, demonic asses are. How the fuck can a pop star getting a certificate gonna devalue your degree?

@1:56 I got a B.A, a TEFL certificate, and I'm working on a Master's in TESOL and I would love to tell you to SHUT THE FUCK UP! You ignorant ass motherfucker, don't you realize how beneficial a certificate can be? It will open more doors than a GED. Some people can't even afford college and a certificate is all they can afford at the moment! Why knock them down for trying?

THIS is why I don't come here anymore. Dumb ass, miserable, bitter ignorant niggas!

The problem with Ciara is not that she wanted to take a 3 day business seminar. There is nothing wrong with it...many people do this in business for finance, accounting etc. Its that shit deliberately chose Harvard, went to the school store, purchased all their sweatshirts and gear and memorabilia and then went to the schools library to take pictures of her looking over a book with her bookbag still on, no pens and paper out taking notes, like she was rifling through a magazine at a hair salon. People saw what she posted up called herself "Alumna" and the whole event has left a sour taste in peoples mouth. Thats whats going on.

Its not that she took it or where, its HOW

She showed the world how uneducated she is by getting exploited for poor spelling. Don't understand why these celebrities won't take online college classes to brush up on the three R's - reading, writing and arithmetic.

Alumna is a female graduate of a college or university. Guess you all didn't attend college either. Jesus be a dictionary for these morons.

11:19 are you serious? Ciara incorrectly spelled a word? But you wrote the following, "Was routing for her after that level up adding, but now she can do one!"
You meant, "you were rooting for her?"..not "routing for her" And the rest of your sentence structure is just pure trash. Wow, ya'll gotta get off the gas. No, I am not an English scholar my damn self and have a hard time writing. But how dare you insult someone?

How about you look up the word alumna?
She didn't spell it wrong. You on the other hand might need a weekend course in basic English

Listen... if I had the money to take a certificate course at Harvard, I'd go buy up the bookstore also and post IG pics of me on campus in Harvard gear down to the socks. But I wouldn't front like I was getting a "degree". I might joke around like "Made it to Harvard, but 3 days was all I could afford lol" or something tongue in cheek. We all know it's nothing compared to actually enrolling and attending, so the way she describes it looks foolish.
