Congrats!! Now we gonna need to see some charitable dollars in the communities.....and hopefully, these Bama ass rappers get inspired to invest their money & slow down on the stupid shit like Jewelry, cars & over priced designer clothes. These crackas in our neighborhoods buying up property....

Forbes has lost its credibility. Carry on ...

Jay z was always the most ambitious rapper from jump. Releasing albums year after year early on, no skips. Putting the baddest R&B woman by his side making a family and building. Any setback he has is temporary, he normally turns around and uses as a stepping stone. I'm happy for him and inspired.

Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

R in NYC says:

Wayment...wasn't he already suppose to be a billionaire?
There's a difference between liquid assets and
Valued assets.

The numbers do not add up. Forbes is lying. And, Jay-Z is fronting hard.

As a full time market participant, let me first start by saying my comment isn't about hating on Jay. Now, Forbes is know on Wall Street as the National Enquirer of Financial news. End of story!

I have more respect for the black billionaire who paid off all of the Morehouse graduates student loans than a black "billionaire" who once peddle drugs in his community, stab his own brother, sold materialism, capitalism, violence, and misogyny to masses, treats his wife like the shit beneath a shoe, cheats on her and humiliated her, sign and fuck a talentless, demonic pop star (Rihanna) while married to his wife, treat other people that he feels is beneath him like shit, brag about his money and status, worship Lucifer and follow the teachings of a known Satanist (Aleister Crowley), lie on Obama about Cuba, continues to REFUSE to go back to school and get his GED or at least an Associates, and promote colorism by propping up light skinned women and treating dark skinned women like crap (Foxy Brown, SZA).

I'm not happy for this demon or his little friends P.Devil and T.I.Pussy. And Forbes is a now a tabloid status mag full of trash. Forbes stop calling folks billionaires when they aren't, especially President Tramp!

....But how much actual cash does he have in the bank?

Reading these comments remind me of the Crabs in a barrel saying. What difference does it make to you how well his doing? The bottom line is another Black man is doing very well and is taking care of his family. Is he perfect of course not but who is? Congratulations Jay and Bee keep going please

@3:21

There are black drug dealers, pimps, false demonic preachers, and owners of strip clubs making a lot of money as well? Should we be happy for them???

Naw, I'm happy for the EDUCATED black billionaires and millionaires who are actually contributing something of substance to society. Not some marginally talented rappers and pop stars who just lucked out and got chosen to be a puppet to people with actual wealth and college degrees.

America is so capitalist yet so anti-intellectual/anti-education. But then bitch and moan when foreigners come in with business acumen AND college education and kick our asses in everything. Americans rely too much on money and keeping up with the Joneses and being rich instead of putting that emphasis on education. This uneducated high school dropout makes more than a teacher and professor with Ph.Ds teaching at risk youth. Let that sink in.

And if this Camel really took care of his family, he wouldn't be treating his wife like shit. He needs to thank Beyonce everyday for helping his level of fame rise because even to this day, less people care about his demonic ass than they do her.

There is an excellent article in the Washington Post by an ex Forbes editor and writer Jonathan Greenberg. Greenberg is an investigative financial and legal journalist and author who wrote for one of Forbes wealth list. He wrote the Forbes 400 list. He admits that when Trump was placed on the list at being WORTH 100 Million that Trump was barley WORTH 5 MILLION. I REPEAT BARLEY 5 MILLION.

THAT IS A HUGE STRETCH. A whopper of lie. Trump understood that getting listed in the publication would open doors, and opportunities it would dramtically enhance his public and business profile. According to Greenberg who put Trump on that list , it did exactly that. They put the blame on Trump for providing them with false information responsible for the huge exggeration of his wealth. Although he later confesses he knew Trump was exaggerating.

Forbes has now crowned Jay Z hip hops first Billionaire. The same Jay Z summoned to the SEC for lying and cooking the books about the financial worth of his company by Mult Millions in the sale of ROC A WEAR .The same Jay Z who was accused of Lying about the number of streamers TIDAL had, from a few thousand to MILLIONS. The same Jay Z accused of using softwear to Minipulate Beyonces numbers of streams for her new album by Multi Millions. The same Jay Z that once fooled everybody into thinking he purchased the Brooklyn Nets and built the Barclays Staduim.

In a Media and Entertainment Article written by Editor Zack Greenburg, Jay Z was declared a Billonaire ....just like Trump was. This is the same Zack Greenburg that wrote two books about Jay Z and painted him as a Mogul (Coincidence?) Zack Greenburg has no Degree in Economics of Finance. No Financial Market or Business background and as been overseeing the Richest in Hip Hop List for a decade.

This Forbes article amounts to paid promo. Its not investigative Journalism or even an in depth financial or business report , its celebrity journalism. A favor for a favor ...Zack Greenburg made good on getting Jay on the Billionaire list before Jays 50th Birthday.

Jay Z is no more Billionaire today as Trump was when Forbes declared him a Billionaire. It is proven fact that Neither Jay or Forbes as any credibility.

@618, I remember that whole debacle with the nets/Barclays center. He had everyone and they mama's believing it was all him and he was a mogul. When in actuality, he only had 1/10th of 1% or less of a share. These Negros are so funny, it's embarrassing.
