Jay Z Says We've Moved Past Kneeling.

This week Jay Z caught heat after taking a position with the NFL after they banned Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem to bring awareness to unpunished police brutality in the Black community [click here if you missed that].

Jay speaks about his new gig and says we've moved beyond kneeling...

Jay Z explains,
"I think we've moved past kneeling and I think it's time to go into actionable items."
"Now that we all know what's going on, what are we going to do? How are we going to stop it? Because the kneeling was not about a job, it was about injustice."
"No, I don't want people to stop protesting at all. Kneeling — I know we're stuck on it because it's a real thing — but kneeling is a form of protest. I support protest across the board. We need to bring light to the issue. I think everyone knows what the issue is — we're done with that. We all know the issue now. OK, next. What are we moving (on to) next? ...And I'm not minimizing that part of it because that has to happen, that's a necessary part of the process. But now that we all know what's going on, what are we going to do? How are we going to stop it? Because the kneeling was not about a job, it was about injustice."

Like I said on SR, "Until I see a "woke" NFL player quit their job because of racial injustice like Afton Williamson did; they can kneel right next to Jay and all continue to collect their checks from the NFL"!

Until Nubians on this planet collectively realize we are the majority, and not "minority" that we have been lied to and that the Caucasians control the census, media and all the systems, that is used to oppress the majority. When we wake up to that realization and unify collectively it's a wrap. In the meantime these various gatekeepers, and tools of the myth of white supremacy will continue to take money to sell out their own. This story is as old as time, black dollars is black power, black energy is black power. J Edgar Hoover when asked what is the biggest threat to white america, his answer negro unification now think why would you be so worried about a so called "minority" group unifying lol Wake up my collectively people. I Love Black People aka Nubians, Black Love, Black Power Black Magic all day every day Selah!!!

JayZ’s new name is Jiggaboo. He’ll dance for the Yt man for the right amount, and change his tune if you tip him. Gotta keep massa happy.

How people want to slam Hova, but NOT slam Kap for WANTING TO STILL PLAY FOR THE LEAGUE THAT BLACKBALLED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE?! How much sense is THAT?! Secondly, what has his kneeling got us? People already know that there's unequal treatment of Blacks, he's not shining a light on that. But HOVA can now control one of the biggest money making aspects of the Super Bowl! He's at the decision making table on one of the most viewed programs IN THE WORLD. This is CHESS. And We need to stop being so damn shortsighted.

@6:38 she does? at your 6:42 comment, how is Jay moves any different from PAID "woke" kneeling players? You're all getting a check from the same people. You are a puppet for the white man too!!

Anyone else feel like some of these posts are redundant? Camel is getting way too much ink on this blog with his satanic azz.

I agree with Jay - move forward. Remember Kap was paid off by the NFL AND has made millions on endorsements. He doesn't need to play ball, that's why he turned down professional offers.

This clown ain't fooling nobody but the blind who can't see. Even his statement is bullshit. It's scripted and well rehearsed. Notice how he repeats himself twice -- saying the kneeling was not about a job, it was about injustice. Wonder how long it took him to prepare that statement.

Then he goes on to say he SUPPORTS protest (clever) asks what are WE moving on to, how are WE gonna stop it? Nah nigga. What are YOU moving on to? What have YOU done and what are YOU doing to stop anything? You're the billionaire right? Your money is so long you could've been influenced the right people, right? And no, photo ops with the families of slain Black men don't count.

At least Kap's been active behind the scenes over the last 4 years - or so I hear. But I haven't heard a peep from Camel. He's done nothing to further the cause of "fighting injustice." He has never put his money or influence where his mouth is. But then again, why should he? How can he reconcile rapping about capping another Black man and then talk about fighting injustice? This nigga is 50+ year old and still wears snapbacks. Seriously?

Listen, All of these elitists -- and that includes Kap - must operate under the premise of smoke and mirrors in order to keep eating good. As far as I'm concerned none of these rich people will ever give up the opportunity to make more money, or to lose money over some social cause which they know they have very limited control over.

Black folks need to be the catalyst for change within their own communities and collectively within their own environments. And we can start by vetting and electing political leaders at the local, state and national level who have our best interest at heart and who have PROVEN it through their past community works.

We need to quit following what any of these celebrities do or say because their problems ain't like ours and their money sure ain't like ours either.
