Kevin Hart Cast in Uptown Saturday Night Remake


Comedian Kevin Hart remaking the 1974 comedy classic Uptown Saturday Night...
 
According to reports Kevin Hart will star in Uptown Saturday Night about two buddies who get robbed at an illegal gambling party and then spend the next day trying to recover a winning lottery ticket that was stolen in the heist.

The original starred Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier.

Why can't they create orginal content like they did back in the day. Was Bill Cosby & Sidney more talented than those who are the black comedians of today? I believe they were.

I can work with a remake, but Kevin Hart? What about Mike Epps and Anthony Anderson? I'll go with almost anyone but Kevin.

Uptown is an orignal story, but it seems to have been inspired by some Chester Himes novels. Just sayin'
