This week 90s House Music artist CeCe Penniston felt a sense of vindication, after months of accusing current it-girl Lizzo of stealing her ad libs, after other artists came forward accusing Lizzo of not giving proper credit for their work [click here if you missed that].
CeCe pulls more receipts....
Last night CeCe Penniston shared a clip from Lizzo's Absolute Vodka campaign with her single 'Finally' playing above it.
Artist India Arie agreed with CeCe and said she assumed Penniston had been compensated.
While CeCe confirmed to another fan that she indeed owns the copyright to the ad-lib

Brace yoself Lizzo, it’s called the price of success & fame
Cece brought those receipts. Copyright trumps all. I cannot stand folks with no creativity of their own and steal other people's work.
Damn, Cece said yes MY shit is trademarked, BYATCH, Love It!
You mean Mammy lizzo is a fraud ...do tell
Lizzo pay up you owe Cece. Yes, CeCe don't let her get away with theft.
None of these singers are original. They always copying and stealing from the old school like we won’t notice
Lizzo pay like you weigh! And you weigh A LOT!! Lmaooooo
Please. She has no case to a sound. Repeating a single word is not copyright claim or a trademark. If she had a case she'd be going to court instead of the court of instgram and twitter.
No original artists these days....hell, beyacki is a classic example of stealing other people's work....
