Kanye Forced to Pull Jamaican Church Merch

Last week Kanye West took his traveling church choir to the island of Jamaica for a free concert.

Now the Culture Minister of Jamaica is demanding Yeezy remove merchandise featuring their island's flag and coat of arms from his online store...

Immediately following Kanye's Jamaican Sunday Service merchandise emblazoned with Jesus is King plus the Jamaican Flag and coat of arms went up for sale on Yeezy's website some for as much $200.

After furious backlash from locals accusing Kanye of using God and their island for profit, the Culture Minister of Jamaica sent a cease and desist letter to Kanye demanding the items be removed.

A statement to the media from Minister Grange explained,
“I noticed Kanye West and members of his choir wearing similarly emblazoned items during their special performance in Kingston last night, but I was not aware at the time that the costumes were being sold online.”
“We neither received a request for nor did we give permission for our national symbols and emblems to be used for a commercial manner or otherwise. I have since requested that the items be withdrawn, and the vendor has agreed to do so.”
