Podcast Hosts Apologize for T.I. Interview

This week rapper T.I. appeared on the 'Ladies Like Us' podcast and explained in graphic detail how he accompanies his teen daughter to her annual GYN appointments to make sure she remains a virgin [click here if you missed that].

The Ladies Like Us apologize for not challenging T.I. on his sexist and archaic views...

What are they apologizing for? They gave TI a platform to speak and he candidly shared what he wanted to. How can they police someone else's words when they invited them to speak freely?

I get they want to backtrack now because of the backlash and outrage but in the moment they were obviously too afraid or star-struck to check his ass. So they just need to let it go. The damage is done. People now see yet another side of TI and who is as a man.

I wish people would quit being so damn apologetic for everything all the time. Take ownership of your words. Say what you mean and mean what you say. And if you don't want the world to hear what you have to say, then be quiet.

@11:30 Maybe they're apologizing for conducting the interview while giggling like two little second graders.

@12:01 I think that's what it is. I was like, ya'll giggling at this ish. T.I. is disgusting and it re-opened the abuse my sister and I had to suffer through. I really hope they pull the plug on his show behind this ish.

They shouldn't have been laughing. I guess that's the difference between a seasoned journalist, or interviewer, and these these types that have podcasts with no real experience in media.

They should have let him talk, and asked good follow - up questions to bury his perverted arse...

This podcast opened old wounds for many! It was a major trigger.

TI is abusive and controlling. If he's the type to abuse his children sexually, I wouldn't be surprised by that in any way. He outed himself. This is the type of possessive shit that some males do, when they are either sizing up a young girl for himself, or is about to sell her to the highest bidder.

Either way, what he's doing is fucked up. I believe the interviewers were caught off guard and didn't know how to handle the gravity of the interview once he started down that road.

All they had to ask was... "isn't that what pedophiles do to their victims?" That would have shut him all the way down.

One half of the podcast Nazanin is Miguel's wife she should have been more media savvy. Shame on her!
