Keyshia Cole Slams OT Genasis Then Deactivates Her Social Media

This week rapper OT Genasis went H.A.M on singer / songwriter Keyshia Cole after she refused to allow his Crip inspired remix of her smash hit single 'Love' to flourish on Youtube [click here if you missed that].

Keyshia slams OT for being a troll and then deactivated her social media accounts...

She has a man right? Husband or something?? He has a woman and baby on the way; if it hasn't been born already.. like, what's really the deal with these two? I understand she wants her full "do" about credits and recognition. However, that song came out in 2008, 2009 or so?? In his parody, he kinda exposed her to a whole new generation. Song was gang related; but it's not like folks were.checking for you Ms. Cole. She always seems so.up tight...at any rate, he sure is in his feelings about Cole's reaction and trolling the shit out of her. Was it that serious tho?? I guess it was for her..

@7:18 AM. You are right about exposing her to the new generation. My teen son had no idea of her or the song that once sung in the car at 5 years old. Of course looking for his song, her song will pull up and 3 out of people will listen to hers and like it. realizing she did it first.

She feels it's a true classic, and classics usually don't have to be reintroduced to younger generations.
She doesn't want her song to be affiliated with him or his goofy version.

It's her work. She chose not to be represented in that way. Which is fine because clearly it is her prerogative? She pulled the plug on HIS SHIT. Didn't we already go over this with Jaqueese (SP?)?? He could have tried to PAY to license the song but he didn't he just claimed he was "helping" her by jacking her work and reintroducing her song to his benefit (under his name). What? And when she was clear that she felt a way about it, he dug in his heels. If she wanted help reintroducing her work perhaps she would have asked for it. This negro overstepped and acted a fool.

But didn't Keyshia just learn that her own father wasn't a white man like she insisted he was largely because he wasn't in her own life? She let that man upset her to this point? Love wasn't even poppin like some of her other songs but okay sis

I want this nigga to remake another song of hers and turn it into fool gold now just because it seems to upset her that much.
