Carl Crawford Sued Over Drowning


Last month a woman and child drowned at 1501 Records CEO, Carl Crawford's, home in Houston, TX [click here if you missed that].

Now the family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit...
 
According to reports the family of Liban Hersi and Jazmine Hernandez are suing Crawford for $1 million accusing him of failing to provide reasonable care, supervision, and a safe and secure environment to his guests.

The case is ongoing.

Thanks @3:59pm. So the mother was negligent and not taking care of her child. How is that a law suit? Trust me Im no fan of his but this is the baby mothers fault.

I know we hate to do it but people need to have guests sign waivers when coming to visit and especially participating in events that pose danger. I remember on Blackish the white neighbor said they have all guests sign waivers that they aren't responsible for drownings at the pool party.

How the fuck is he being sued for an accident? these damn frivolous lawsuits I tell ya. Damn if you own property you now have to make fools sign waivers to come visit yo ass. All I know that is some strong root work someone who shall remain nameless threw on his ass.

The mother was at work. The lady that drowned was a friend who was supposed to help watch the kid. Not sure how theyre related to Carl.
