Body Recovered at Lake Piru

Last week actress Naya Rivera went missing on Lake Piru in Ventura, County CA after renting a pontoon boat with her 4-year-old son Josey [click here if you missed that].

A body has been recovered at the lake...

Story is developing.

This is so sad. She was a beautiful girl (without the plastic surgery) but was in so much pain.

That poor child of hers.

Could have at least revealed the gender...

A lot of people are getting mad about the suicide conspiracies but I honestly think that she did commit suicide and went to the lake to make it look like an accident. People say that she wouldn’t have because she loved her son, but when people commit suicide, it doesn’t mean that they don’t love their loved ones, their pain can be so much that they just can’t live anymore. She continuously had issues with men and maybe she felt unloved.

Either way, this is so sad. Anyone else have thoughts on this, or theories?

@ 2:27 I'm terrified of drowning after almost drowning at 12. I just can't wrap my head around going out on that lake with no other adult present. I'm leaning more towards accident than suicide. If another adult had been present perhaps her chance of survival would have been better.

the BLM movement aint about black lives, the founders of that God-forsaken organization are using the George Floyds & Travon Martins of the world to push their true agenda--->TRANSGENDERISM AND AGEISM

they actually are trying to GET RID of black men in the homes to keep the black family structure even MORE destroyed than it already is!

Best believe this is the white cave demon agenda for the black race. They were created EVIL...stay away from them. If you have to work around them, NEVER Trust them on anything! I donn't give a rats azz how 'nice' they are to you...don't trust them, don't eat nuthing they give to you, don't let them watch your kids...just stay away from them!

READ the BLM Mission Statement as well (Read the fine print too)

I dunno, she either planned to take that baby with her and changed her mind at the last minute or it was an accident. As a mother I can't wrap my head around her jumping off the boat and leaving her baby in that very dangerous and traumatizing situation by himself, hoping someone would save him when she didn't even have any hope for herself.

I pray she is at Peace now.

@2:27 I did .. I wondered why would someone swim in the middle of nowhere with your 4 yr old child on a day when it wasn't busy. Yes she was about to work on a new season of step up but sometimes nothing can cure whats in the head. My prayers are with her son and family that's hard to live with especially when you don't get to say goodbye

Naya was sadly a sacrifice, 33 years old found on the 6th day and on Cory's 7 year anniversary of his death.

This will bring closer to the family. I hope they do the spiritual ancestral work to see to it her spirit is at peace. Traumatic deaths even suicide do not rest in peace, until work is done to elevate said spirit.

I think it was an accident. After her disappearance I looked up lakes, whirlpools, and trees and trees and plants beneath. If she did a dive she could have hit herself, and or maybe underground whirlpool currents pulled her under. I will never go to a lake.

I think this was a freak accident. I couldn't imagine her taking her baby out there just to commit suicide. At any rate, she is dead either way.

The best swimmers drown all the time. Swimming pools and other bodies of water are not built the same. You could very much die in the pool too. But lakes, rivers, etc..a whole different beast.

Ms. Rivera rest in eternal peace.

I’m with you on that and I lost my cousin to drowning in Alabama, he washed up in Pensacola Florida. A current got him and his sister. His sister had to kick loose from him because he was dragging her under. She was so traumatized because she couldn’t save him and he was begging her to help him. I could not understand why they were so far out at the beach in Gulf Shores. They were where the drop off was and the current got them....I don’t let my kids go past knee height when swimming in any water and I stay out of the water period. I am a decent swimmer but I will not mess with nature...

I don't think it was suicide because she wouldn't have let her child witness that as much as she loved him. Female suicide victims don't usually like to torment and traumatize their children unless they plan on taking them with them to die. Most female suicide victims chose less traumatic deaths, but in recenr years people have begun to do weird things.I think a rip tide got her like the other folks who died there. They don't warn you about the under water whirlpools, but that lake is loaded with them. If by chance she committed suicide there should be some history on her cell and computer of her looking those things up or innuendos somewhere along the lines. Prayers sent for the child.

@8:48, Sorry for your loss. Drowning is a horrific way to go, but in recent years more and more people have been getting sucked under. I don't go out there. If I want to swim I will get in a pool with others around me. I don't think she cruel enough to leave her baby that way. He probably cried himself to sleep.

Closure and some solace for her family. Peace be with you now...
