WeTV Postpones Tamar Braxton's Reality Show

Over the past few weeks there have been rumors that Tamar Braxton's suicide attempt was triggered by a disagreement with WeTV over Tamar and her boyfriend David Adefeso's portrayal in her new reality show, 'Get Ya Life [click here if you missed that].'

WeTV has decided to postpone the premier...

Im not sure I believe the reason. WEtv has no new shows lined up for the Fall, because of Covid.

I guess she'll be the next one to apologize.

How is it a day before the show is supposed to premiere, now they've decided to yank the show? Hmmm! They noticed people are seeing them for what they are. They sliced & diced that trailer to give a false appearance of abuse and now a woman has tried to take her life because of it. There's a liability for that and I hope Tamar sues the fuck out of them. Hopefully, this will spark a beginning for these reality show producers to stop this bullshit. They create a lot of havoc, rumors, lies to stir up drama for their shows and hoping it spills over to give them great ratings. But when people see what they’re doing and push back, they create a storyline to smear them as a way of revenge. Essentially, spanking their credibility and image for not playing along with them. They usually target black men and they make them look as if they're cheaters, physically abusive and lazy. They feed other cast members bullshit to support the storylines, then they send people to social media and message boards to drive the story online. I've watched it over and over again. There's a former producer of the Real Housewives of Atlanta telling it all the show’s dirty nasty secrets on youtube. They’ve spilled the strategies about how they break up relationships, marriages and friendships with their diabolical bullshit. When Tamar is up to it, I hope she takes them for everything they have. Sue WeTV and then go after The Real for their unfair labor practices and find out the real reason they fired her. Finally expose Loni for the dirty fat insecure snake that she is.

I hope you have a good attorney Tamar. Get the best.

@11:48...A good attorney for what? It's not WeTV's fault that she tried to commit suicide. That would definitely be a waste of Tamar's money to hire an attorney. Especially with her publicly known reputation for having a bad attitude.

Tamar been in the reality game for 10 years, this is her 3rd show with We Tv. She would have a hard time blaming them for her breakdown. Signed on knowing how the reality game works, I think it's David who pushed her over the edge.

Right before her breakdown Tamar was going off about a pay disparity and being treated poorly by the network. Days later she tries to commit suicide and Mr Nigeria made sure to immortalize WeTV as the main culprit for her suicide attempt on the 911 call. Sounds to me like somebody's setting the stage for a major lawsuit.

Yes, an attorney. While I don't know all the facts, WeTV may have contributed to Tamar's suicide attempt and that's why there are labor & employment laws in place to protect people. Any place of employment or any company you may have work for, even as an independent contractor, has a responsibility to provide a safe and healthy environment. FACTS! It's the law! I would start with subpoenaing all text messages and emails. They can try to delete them but that’s easy to uncover and would further damage their credibility. I would sue the fuck out of them especially if they're deliberately distorting the truth in away that damages Tamar's reputation and any further projects, as well as, contributing to her mental well-being. When she gets well enough, I would begin to detail each and every incident and all parties involved. Vh1 learned their lesson on the set of I Love Money when that fool went on a rampage killing everyone around him, go on the run and then committed suicide. Reality television festers an unhealthy environment, in front of and behind the scenes.

@2:17...You would sue and lose. If you work in a hostile work environment you have a choice to leave. It would be extremely hard for Tamar to prove that WeTV had anything to do with her unhappiness.

Tamar wanted out of her show because she didn't like how she was being portrayed. The only way out of the contract was an credible illness clause. The boyfriend talked about the show on the 911 call - who does that? If they are so awful, why do a show with them in the first place. Trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes...too extra for everybody. Get it together sis, you have a life many dream of and a son that is watching you literally act a fool on TV. You are no Kardashian and why do you aspire to be. Before you were fixated on Beyonce and Gaga - create your own lane girl and drive it.

She has a right to leave? Uhm, that's not how it works. Employers have a responsibility to provide a healthy work environment. Those are facts. Large and small organizations in American are sued everyday for their inability to provide an environment stable enough for them to do their job proficiently. Look it up! Just like you can't harass someone on the job. Nor can you create a toxic environment and expect your employee to crank out good work product. We live in a society of rules, regulations and rights. That's why certain industries have unions in place. Duh!

You asked: If they are so awful, why do a show with them in the first place? Welp, I'll tell you why. I'm sure just like anyone who is wishing for the best. WeTv and it's associated production companies probably promised that things would be different for Tamar with this project. Companies do it all the time if they believe you're valuable and can bring them in lots of money. If anyone watched the trailer, they could determine for themselves that WeTv is on some bullshit because they painted a picture that isn't there, which has the potential to destroy someone's credibility. You can't do that.

9:59pm get your fake legal eagle behind outta here. Tamar ain't nobody's employee and the reality tv set ain't her workplace. Companies do have to make sure people are safe from falling down and busting there ass or catching fire but ain't no way in hell a tv show is responsible for making sure you don't try and kill yourself. Get the hell out of here spreading that lame BS.

You sound dumb AF. Shut up. Employers are sued each and everyday for stressful environments. Everyday! And if your retarded ass could google from a computer or a laptop and stopped trying to text messages from your phone, you would know this. Now I'm done with this bullshit and you'll see them cut a check. Then I'll be back to laugh at your ignorant ass cause all you had to do was google that shit. Comparing this incident to a slip & fall. Damn. You a stupid ass bitch.
