Dr. Dre's Wife Under Investigation for Embezzlement
Last month Dr. Dre's estranged wife, Nicole Young, withdrew over $300,000 from one of their joint business accounts without authorization [click here if you missed that].
LAPD has opened an investigation...
According to reports Dre and Nicole's other business partner, Larry Chatman, filed a police report after legal threats to return the money fell on deaf ears.
If the account is for BUSINESS PURPOSES, it a business checking account. Though she has access, it doesn't mean she can take what she wants. She literally stole from the business. The business filed a criminal complaint.
She's obviously an authorized signer of the business account and does not require authorization from a second party. Most legit business accounts require two signatures for all withdrawals. Requiring two signatures protects the business and makes funds less accessible.
One would think this security measure would have been put in place to prevent not only Nicole from making withdrawals but anyone else for that matter. Unless well, she beat someone to the punch.
@4:25PM I AM HERE TO STRICTLY GO BACK AT WO-MEN WHO FEEL THAT THEY HAVE SOME SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT TO THEIR SPOUSES WEALTH AFTER "THEY" FEEL THAT THEY NO LONGER WANT TO BE MARRIED!
@CoolKid, 4:25 here. Legally she is entitled to a substantial pay out, it's not about blame it's about division of assets. How lightly he gets off depends on both parties' lawyers and whether he has a prenup in place. It was always going to get nasty once the lawyers are involved. Let's be real here, his wealth and status are what enticed her in the first place and he knew that. His earning power stratospherically exceeds hers and marriage guarantees her some protection in the event of divorce. What price do you put on giving birth and raising children? Arguably the hardest job in the world but often overlooked and taken for granted, plus giving up a career to do so. Dr Dre will be more than fine even if she's awarded half (i don't think she'll get that anyway).

You need permission on a JOINT account?

Oh well

Where are the defenders of this Gold Digger?
SCoolkid,
Why are you so wrapped up in Dr Dre's divorce proceedings? Will it personally affect your life if she walks away with his half his fortune?
She deserves what she can get from him.

@5:24PM Why does she "Deserve" what she can get from him? Please, by all means, elaborate!
