NeNe Leakes Amplifies the Systemic Mistreatment of Black Women

Three years ago NeNe Leakes accused Hollywood of blacklisting her following the end of her recurring role as Coach Roz on hit TV series Glee [click here if you missed that].

NeNe is still feeling the burn...

In a Tweet this week NeNe assures her followers that the discrimination, retaliation, blacklisting, devaluation and humiliation against Black women is real.

I thought she stated so many streaming sites were interested in her potential gab-fest with the queens? I mean are you blacklisted or not if so many sites wants to work with you?

That's just how the industry works dear, ask Mel Gibson. Welcome to Hollywood!

She needs to shut up. She is the type of Black woman that traumatized so many black women. Black women like this wideback thing are a real problem in our community. In fact, white racist use ignorant, hateful, insecure black women like NeNe to traumatize black women that are a threat. I am going to need this silly woman to sit her bitter behind down.

Yawn. I don't doubt there are some instances of discrimination, blacklisting, devaluing and humiliation again black women but this ain't it. NeNe is attempting to ignore the fact that she walked around stepping on people, treated them like she was up there and they were down there but now that shit has come back to bite her in her flat wide ass. What she's experiencing is people who are refusing to work with her because they don't want to. She's exploiting a cause where many woman are genuinely being exploited and she's going to further alienate herself by doing so. While I'm still going to boycott bravo but it won't be because of her. She should probably think about writing scripts or something, because people are going to continue to treat her like she's a crackhead until she finds another way to get in that door. It's over!

Sorry, but for many years Nene bullied and was a thorn in the side of many Black women. Now, she's not "Queen B" or the go to girl or head bitch in charge anymore, so it's a problem. No sympathy for her....

Nene is the systemic of mistreatment of black women. No one has been meaner and more spiteful to them than her. Only time she took a break was to dig in Kim's ass.

So right commenters above esp Lil Nissey. We would hear nothing from her if she was getting a check.

The funny thing is that she treated Black women the worse on that show. She obviously isn’t adjusting well to her removal. What’s she mad for? That’s not how show business works La Neathia. Be happy you not on that pole no more.

Lil Nissey is correct.

Nene spoke negative about Wendy Wiliaams and Andy Cohen and she is blackballed. A fool with no real power should have kept her mouth shut. What is real is those Jewish boys ain't checking for Nene Leakes. Good Luck!
