Wendy Williams Biopic Pulls Strong Ratings

On Saturday Wendy Williams: The Movie premiered on Lifetime [click here if you missed that].

Welp, the ratings are in...

2.18 million viewers tuned in to catch Wendy's Tea, way more than Lifetime's usual Saturday night viewership and not far behind the 2.29 million who tuned in to watch Surviving R. Kelly on Lifetime.

Wendy's Lifetime special follow up 'Wendy Williams: What a Mess' also did well coming in second behind the biopic in ratings.

Good for you Wendy. Lets hope the next husband gives you your happily ever after ending so there wont be any room for a sequel to that messfest that aired Saturday. Good luck. Choose wisely.....

My parents are in their 60s and they watched this mess. They must be desperate for drama.

Good for her. It's nice to see people get their flowers while they're alive. She's enjoying her 2nd half of her life. 50+

Happy Black History Month.

Yeah WW was in dem street. It is great that SHE got to tell her story and that people enjoyed it. They still talking about it unlike the Salt and Pepper one where the bad wigs and deletion of Spin from their whole fuckin story just buried them once and for all. It would be like if Wendy just rubbed out Kevin and his new family just because that part hurt her.

Flowers for the Lady.

Love her or hate her but Wendy carved out a niche and she's the Queen of it. Respect!

Wendy continuing to drag Backwoods Barbie on her show is why I watch. Loving the "behind-the-scenes" mess too. But 13 years? Not enough dick in the world.....

Good for Wendy. She's still hurting like hell tho. She has nothing to prove. She should retire and get some good therapy.
