LOL good for these ignorant dummies. Record companies know how to use these young black wanna be rappers just offer then big fake diamond chains, bracelets and a diamond encrusted watch, lease them a car under the company name, give them their advance up front 50k and they will sign no questions asked. As time goes by songs played on the radio, touring they are making money but they can't figure out why they not getting that money because they owe every gift given back to the record company, that money they used to get you to sign with them, you owe back with interest. Most rappers are hood rich because they are blinded by materialism on the gram.

Best advice - learn the field you are trying to get involved in, read and reach out for information about the business.

@7:08am Preach!!! These fools don't even have sense enough to get their OWN entertainment lawyer in order to protect themselves. And if the record company gives reasons why that won't be necessary, then that's a huge
red flag.

It's not like these rappers don't have enough examples of people who came before them, complaining about getting a bad record deal. Oh well young, it looks like you may have to take this L.

He is smart enough to floss on the gram and get do social media beefs and all the wrong shit but not smart enough to find out whats going on and be content with whatever the label tells them. How many times are we going to read about this? About how artists get stuck with crazy ass deals where they do not get any fucking money but the label does.
