This is why you don't marry broke niggas. Rich women should either pay for dick, lease a dick, but never marry a broke dick. Marriage is a construct of patriarchy to oppress women, it's only serves to have them have a live in maid, cook, breeder and cheerleader to stroke their fragile ego's. Matriarchy never married men, we took lovers, everything was passed down through the female bloodlines. 99% of these hoes are not fit for any type of marriage. Their is absolutely no benefit to marriage, other than if yo ass ain't got no money and he has money to leave to you, when he bites it. Other than that just say no!!!

What y'all said. It's an unfortunate truth. Ttoo few Black women win big in marriage, and often lose even bigger when marrying down.

Most women who want marriage simply don't want to grow old and be alone. There's nothing worse than that. Also women need protection out here in this crazy world. It's better to be married, just know what you're getting.

@2:26AM. Very true. But a piece of paper doesn't guarantee loyalty, protection, faithfulness or permanent companionship. And if the transfer of assets after death is a concern, a solid will fits the bill.

Ms mac no lies told. I've seen black women stripped of dignity and value all for the sake of the husbands career. Their degrees and MBA's flushed down the toilet cuz hubby can't let them shine brighter than himself.

2:26 A lot of them are being abused in those marriages. No protection there and being alone is not the worst thing in the world. I think being trapped in a loveless marriage is the worst short of losing a child.
